Being from England and having never experienced the joys and pains of prom, I really enjoyed the chance to photograph Shayna's pre-prom gathering. It was a fabulous event in a beautiful place with lots of good food and drink - and what a great group of kids.

Our beautiful afternoon turned in to a stormy evening just as we were driving to our planned destination for pictures. The rain started and the sky blackened. A little disheartened we turned south to try to go "under" the storm. Just then we saw the world's largest rainbow - a double rainbow infact. Hurridly we looked for a good location, stopped by the side of a road and found a nice looking farmer's field. Luckily, as we were about to hop the fence we realised that the gate could be opened. Good thing as Abby was in a cute summer dress. What a good sport she was as we hurried through the long wet grass. Though the rainbow had faded a little we did still manage to get a couple of shots. As we were already trespassing we decided to make the most of it and explore a little - we both got soaking wet and had a lot of fun too. We got some beautiful shots of a beautiful girl.
Little Abby came into the world about 2 weeks ago and after a brief stay in the NICU is perfectly healthy and ready for life. She was so alert and ready for action that we had a really hard time getting her to drift off to sleep. In the mean time we took plenty of pictures of her big beautiful eyes and of course her sweet little toes.
