It was fun to spend an evening with the Nielsen family just a week before Mike left for his 2 year mission to Korea. I love how much this family enjoys being together. I know they will miss their big brother but are all so excited for his mission.

Despite being outside during the season's highest heat index, this family was full of fun and such good sports about what I put them through. They all managed to look composed and beautiful/handsome throughout. I also love their colourful choice of clothes that match their fun personalities.

Daddy-Daughter Dance

Kevin and his beautiful bride Devon came back to Kentucky to celebrate with family and friends.

Baby Maya

Maya is a wonderfully mellow baby who just kept on sleeping through it all. She is so tiny and pretty. The cradle and blocks above are family heirlooms. I love to be able to use things in the pictures that are passed down from previous generations.

Her daddy said that he would like some pictures of her awake - and we did get a couple while she was posing on the Chilean flag for him. She's already a daddy's girl.

Sleeping in her mini tutu - it was about the cutest item of clothing I've ever seen - and her mom made it along with matching ones for big sisters Gabi and Elena.

Another new addition to the family, Rosie, was all dressed and ready for pictures but when she tugged at Maya's blanket and tried to shread Elana's tutu she was not allowed to join in.
